The instructor is right next to you, holding you. Show the "problem" sign — we surface immediately. On the Discovery Dive, group is max 2 people — personal control.

NOT recommended for:
- Asthma
- Epilepsy

❓ More Questions
Best season for diving?

What's the minimum age?
Discover Scuba: from 10 years
Open Water: from 10 years (Junior up to 15)
Snorkeling: from 6 years
Can I dive with glasses?
Regular glasses — no. But there are masks with prescription lenses — let us know in advance, we'll fit you!
Is it cold underwater?
No! Water is 25–30°C year-round (warmer than a pool). 3mm wetsuit — totally comfortable.
How much air is in a tank?
12-liter tanks, 200 bar. Lasts 40–60 minutes per dive (depending on depth and breathing rate).
Is there night diving?
Yes! For certified divers (Open Water+). Night Dive is part of the Advanced course. Amazing experience!
Can pregnant women dive?
NO!
Diving is contraindicated at any stage of pregnancy — risk to the fetus. Snorkeling — possible (with caution, check with your doctor).
What is Nitrox?
Oxygen-enriched air (32–36% O₂ instead of 21%). More bottom time (+40%), less fatigue. Course $180, 1 day.
Can I buy my own gear?
Yes! Mask + snorkel + fins ~$50–150. Everything else (tank, BCD, regulator) — expensive, easier to rent from us.
What if water gets in my mask?
Look up, press the top of the mask, exhale through your nose — water exits from the bottom. We teach this on the briefing, it's not difficult.
Can I dive on my period?
Yes! Use a tampon/cup. Sharks (THERE ARE NONE HERE) DO NOT react to the smell (THIS IS A MYTH). If cramps are severe — better to reschedule.
How many times a day can I dive?
3–4 dives a day — standard for liveaboards. Between dives — minimum 1 hour interval. Nitrogen needs to leave the bloodstream.
What if I get seasick on the boat?
Take seasickness pills BEFORE departure (Dramamine, Bonine). We'll offer pills on the boat for free. Don't read on the boat. Look at the horizon. Underwater, the seasickness disappears!
Can I dive after drinking the night before?
Minimum 12 hours after the last drink. So if you drank in the evening — you can dive in the morning. But not hungover!
What if I lose my instructor underwater?
On a Discovery Dive, the instructor does NOT let go of you (max 2 people per group). If somehow it happens: surface slowly, inflate your vest (we'll show you how), wait — you'll be found right away.
Can I touch fish and corals?
NO!
Corals are alive — even a touch can kill them. Fish — may bite or be venomous. Look, photograph — don't touch.
The diver's motto: "Leave nothing behind but bubbles. Take nothing from the water but photographs."
What if I run out of air?
The instructor has a backup regulator (octopus). Plus the gauge shows remaining air — the instructor monitors it. Your tank holds more than 1 hour of air, and a Discovery Dive lasts 30–40 minutes. So you'll have a double safety margin.
Do I need diving insurance?
Recommended! Standard travel insurance often does NOT cover diving. Get DAN (Divers Alert Network) or World Nomads.
Can I dive after eating?
Yes, with caveats. Heavy meal — wait 1.5 hours. Light snack (banana, sandwich) — fine right away. Don't dive on an empty stomach either!
